- In-house Advice: You will liaise with other members of the Legal Department, providing professional advice and guidance to intra-company customers.
- Giving Accurate Counsel: You will give accurate and timely counsel to executives on a variety of legal topics.
- Contract Review: You will draft and review customer and supplier contracts and other legal documents.
- Representation: You will represent the company before quasi-judicial agencies and public authorities, responsible for defending the company's legal interests in litigation and claims in Algeria.
- External Counsel: You will liaise with external legal counsel to assist in handling legal matters covering various areas of the law, such as commercial/corporate, litigation, human resources, tax, finance, and regulatory matters. This involves cooperation with other departments of the DPDHL group, hands-on management of matters, relationships, and costs.
- Awareness: You will maintain awareness of relevant laws and changes in the law that may have an impact on company interests, with a particular focus on the industry and jurisdiction involved.
- Compliance: You will be able to spot any possible compliance issues and ensure preventive measures are taken to protect the legal and commercial interests of the company.
- Reporting: You will produce regular and ad-hoc reports and provide other administrative assistance within the Legal Department.
- Ability to apply legal knowledge and expertise in business environment.
- Developing legal analytical skills.
