Main responsibilities and tasksPlay a leadership role within North Africa leadership teamStrategic & Commercial Leadership· Define and implement the commercial strategy for the oncology portfolio in alignment with global and regional objectives.· Drive sales performance, market share growth, and brand positioning across oncology products.· Lead product launches, ensuring cross-functional readiness and market impact.Team & Stakeholder Management· Lead and develop a high-performing team across sales, marketing, and operations.· Collaborate with medical affairs, market access, regulatory, and supply chain to ensure cohesive execution.· Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and institutional stakeholders.Operational Excellence· Own the P&L for the oncology business unit, managing budgets and ensuring profitability.· Monitor market dynamics, competitor activities, and customers need to adapt strategies accordingly.Ensure that all activities are undertaken in accordance with all Ipsen SOPs, policies, directives and relevant national guidelines.Innovation & Growth· Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and innovative commercial models.· Champion digital transformation and data-driven decision-making within the business unit.· Contribute to the long-term vision and portfolio development of Ipsen's oncology franchise.Experience / SkillsEducation :· A bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Biologist & veterinaryAn MBA or other advanced degree (e.g., Marketing), especially for strategic leadership roles.Experience:· 8-10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong background in sales, marketing, or medical affairs.· Proven track record in managing teams, P&L responsibility, and driving business growth.· Experience in specific therapeutic areas (e.g. , Oncology, Urology) is often required.· Strong understanding of market dynamics, regulatory environment, and stakeholder engagementLanguages & communication skills:· Fluency in both English and French, written and spoken, is required.· Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively are key to success in this roleKey technical skills requiredA strong foundation in medical and scientific knowledge supports effective engagement with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and ensures credibility in the field.The role demands mastery of market, product, and competitor analysis, as well as operational performance tracking (investments, activities).It also requires excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.All activities must be conducted in strict compliance with Ipsen's internal directives and regulatory standards.Strong analytical skills, team spirit, and agility are essential to navigate a fast-evolving oncology landscape.
