- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business goals and project timelines.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities, supplier consolidation strategies, and supply chain improvements.
- Conduct market intelligence, supplier benchmarking, and risk analysis to inform sourcing decisions.
- Lead end-to-end sourcing processes, including RFI, RFP, and RFQ development and execution.
- Manage solicitation planning, bid evaluations, supplier selection, and onboarding.
- Ensure that all tender processes are conducted in compliance with internal policies and ethical standards.
- Negotiate favorable commercial terms, including pricing, service levels, warranties, delivery terms, and penalties.
- Collaborate with the legal team to draft, review, and execute contracts and framework agreements.
- Manage contract lifecycles and maintain records for audit readiness and compliance.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance using defined KPIs (quality, cost, delivery, responsiveness, compliance).
- Address supplier performance issues and lead corrective action plans when needed.
- Conduct periodic supplier reviews and maintain long-term, strategic supplier relationships.
- Work closely with internal teams including engineering, project management, legal, finance, operations, and quality.
- Align procurement activities with technical specifications, budget requirements, and project schedules.
- Serve as a key liaison between business units and external suppliers to ensure aligned expectations.
- Utilize ERP/MRP systems to manage procurement transactions, contract milestones, and reporting.
- Track and report on procurement KPIs and contribute to business reviews and planning.
- Support the implementation of e-procurement tools and digital procurement transformation initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement of procurement processes through lean principles and best practices.
- Mentor and guide junior procurement staff, promoting a high-performance procurement culture.
- Contribute to internal and external audits and ensure full procurement policy compliance
- Strong knowledge of procurement procedures, tendering, and sourcing methodologies.
- Proven negotiation skills and experience in contract drafting and supplier relationship management.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred) and strong Excel/analytical skills.
- Understanding of legal, financial, and technical elements of procurement contracts.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- High level of organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Results-driven with a proactive and analytical mindset.
- Master's degree (or equivalent) in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, or Business.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in a similar role in a complex, fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); knowledge of a second language is a plus.
