§ Legal Advisory: Offer timely and pragmatic legal advice on commercial contracts, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and telecom-related matters.§Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate agreements with clients, vendors, and partners.
§ Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to Algerian laws. Maintain corporate compliance in employment, corporate governance, cyber security and data protection, taxation, corporate governance etc. and provide management improvement solutions, establish necessary actions to ensure legal compliance due to changes in applicable legal and regulatory requirements;§ Dispute resolution and risk prevention to protect legal benefit of the company in collaboration with external reputational counsels;§ Legal environment establishment and regulatory Monitoring: Track legislative changes impacting the ICT sector and advise internal stakeholders on compliance and mitigation strategies;§ Liaise, manage external law firms and government authorities and liaise among internal business departments;
§ Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner with HR, finance, and operations teams to address legal risks and align business practices with local requirements.Your Profile :
§ Education: Master's Degree; admission to the Algerian Bar is a plus;
§ Experience: At least 3 years of post-qualification experience in a law firm or corporate legal department, preferably with exposure to the telecom/ICT industry.;§ Legal Expertise: Strong knowledge of Algerian commercial, civil, corporate, labor, tax law, data protection and telecom laws. Experience in cross-border transactions is advantageous.§ Familiar and competent with handling company legal affairs and procedures, successfully handling complex commercial or non-commercial cases before the courts or arbitral institutions;§ Experience in reviewing and preparing Algerian contracts (business contracts, employment contracts), profound understanding of contract structure and clauses for domestic and translational projects;§ Language Skills: Full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory. Fluency in French or Arabic is highly desirable.;§ Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication abilities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.;§ Ethics: High integrity, proactive mindset, and commitment to Huawei's valuesLanguage: English is a must
