Language requirements: Fluent in EnglishAt Eni, we are looking for a Head of Service Planning & Methods within Groupement Sonatrach Eni in Algeria. You will be responsible for engineering and overseeing preventive, corrective and improvement maintenance programmes for the CTH and the collection/distribution network. This includes ensuring high-quality execution of maintenance operations, timely provision of equipment, tools and spare parts, and mobilising the appropriate specialists for interventions and system improvement studies. You will also be expected to optimise resources to enhance performance and reduce costs, ensure proper contract execution with strict budget monitoring and guarantee the availability, regular updating and distribution of all necessary documentation to support maintenance activities.Your employment contract will be managed by Eni International Resources Ltd (EIRL).About Groupement Sonatrach EniGroupement Sonatrach Eni is a strategic partnership between Eni and Sonatrach, focused on sustainable development and energy transition.   • Maintain industrial equipment to ensure continuous, safe and efficient operation of production facilities.
  • Perform maintenance activities to guarantee the uninterrupted and secure functioning of production systems.
  • Prepare for scheduled shutdowns.
  • Develop intervention schedules.
  • Compile lists of required equipment, tools and spare parts.
  • Clearly describe the work to be performed.
  • Prepare technical specifications.
  • Accurately identify the requested tasks.
  • Gather necessary documentation and propose optimal solutions.
  • Launch calls for tenders and evaluate technical offers.
  • Standardise work tools and documentation.
  • Contribute to contract development.
  • Arrange transport, accommodation and meals for subcontracted personnel.
  • Conduct engineering activities for preventive, corrective and improvement maintenance of the CTH and collection/distribution networks.
  • Ensure the availability of technical documentation.
  • Coordinate and organise triennial and decennial regulatory inspections.
  • Maintain historical records for each piece of equipment in the CTH and collection/distribution network.
  • Optimise spare parts stock levels and support the warehouse in evaluating supplier offers for restocking and inventory replenishment.
  • Propose the annual operations and extraordinary maintenance budget for the field and ensure its periodic revision.
  • Participate in the safety committee to help improve the safety of personnel, installations and the environment.
  • Provide technical opinions and identify materials arriving at the warehouse.
  • Support the development and training of team members.
  • Foster a healthy and peaceful working environment.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy operational environment by complying with GSA's HSE policy, identifying and addressing training needs in line with HSE IMS procedures, reporting anomalies and non-conformities, and proactively suggesting improvements to enhance health, safety and environmental performance.
Skills and experience required:
  • University degree in a relevant field.
  • Extensive relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in HSE standards and procedures.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Management skills in a multicultural environment.
  • Strong analytical, synthesis and proactive abilities.
  • Ability to show initiative and anticipate needs.
